Josh Anderson will enter his third year in professional baseball this summer and first with the Florence Freedom. He will serve as the radio voice of the 2009 Freedom. The Fairbury, Illinois native spent the past two seasons in the Frontier League as the Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations for the River City Rascals.
Anderson graduated from Lindenwood University in 2007 with a B.A. in Mass Communication and an emphasis in TV/Radio Broadcasting. While at Lindenwood, he received national recognition through the National Broadcasting Society, as they awarded him a national grand prize for a audio sports program and national runner-up for play-by-play.
Anderson brings six years of working inside the radio industry to the Freedom including internships with Sporting News Radio, the St. Louis Rams Radio Network and KTRS.
He is an avid Chicago sports fan, cheering for the Cubs, Bulls and Bears.

WNKR's annual holiday festival of music. Hosted by our own Shad O'Shea, this program features a nostalgic look at Northern Kentucky's Christmas past, coupled with 36 hours of wonderful holiday music of all styles. Begins at noon on Christmas Eve and runs straight through for 36 hours until midnight Christmas Night.
